My Role
User Research
-
Planned and conducted remote user interviews
Synthesis
-
Synthesized findings into actionable deliverables such as persona, user journey map, archetypes, key insights, and design opportunities.
Ideation
-
Ideated features and concepts with the design team using methods like the Crazy 8's.
-
Determine information architecture and responsive design
Prototype and Test
-
Created wireframes to rapidly test and iterate the designs from mockups to high-fidelity prototypes.
Overview
Problems
The current website faces significant issues related to information architecture, user targeting, and content management. The content structure is cluttered, leading to duplicated and confusing information. There are redundant entry points to identical content, and the website fails to effectively communicate and translate the brand's core values.
Goals
To revamp and enhance the existing website to optimize information architecture, streamline content, and clarify the target audience. This project aims to create a user-centric, organized, and brand-aligned website that improves user experience.
Target Audience
Our intended audience includes customers who frequently engage in parcel delivery or collection activities and small retailers seeking collaboration opportunities.
01 Research and Synthesis
Remote 1-to-1 Interview
Interviewees were asked to complete the 2 tasks with a few follow-up questions to understand their mental model and blockers

Pain Point
-
Cluttered content
-
Redundant entry points
-
Unclear brand's core values
Key Insight & Design Opportunity
Through user research, preliminary findings indicate the need for focused content, eliminating duplicated information, and streamlined parcel tracking processes.
02 Prototype and Test
Wireframes and Mockups
I did a quick ideation exercise to come up with ideas for how to address gaps identified in the research, using methods like the Crazy 8's in a brainstorming session. After ideating and initial paper wireframe sketches, I translated these ideas into digital wireframes, ensuring a precise alignment with user needs. These thoughtfully crafted designs prioritize content organization taking into consideration its targeted audience.

High-fidelity Prototypes
The hi-fi prototype followed the same user flow as the lo-fi prototype, including design changes made after the usability study.

Accessibility Considerations
Screen Reader Compatibility
Clear labels and alternative text for interactive elements that can be read by screen readers
Clear and Consistent Navigation
Organizing content in a logical, consistent manner with clear headings
Responsive Design
Designed responsive website for different screen sizes and devices, including mobile phones and laptops
